It’s the start of a new year… a time for new beginnings… but I’m getting tons of emails from people who are worried about 2015.
They’re worried that this will be another “wasted” year and they won’t make the changes in their lives they want and for good reason…. A study done at Stanford U states that only 8% of the population (who makes New Year Resolutions) fulfills their New Year Resolutions by the end of the year!
They’re already stressed out, feeling fearful they won’t achieve their goals (AGAIN). They are fearful that they won’t lose that weight, make good on their promise to get healthier or make more money…YADA YADA….YADA………………
Here’s why this is counter-productive:
We get more of what we focus on.
What this means is – when you allow yourself to worry, you’ll tend to attract even more situations to worry about. Being fearful…creates more fears. Or when you are stressing about “lack of money”, you’re actually inviting an even greater lack of money into your life. Not Cool!
But here’s the good news:
A simple switch in your focus – and energy – can have profound benefits!!
So, try these 3 tips….and start right NOW.
- Feel gratitude every day for all the abundance in your life. Doesn’t matter how “small” your current level of prosperity or success is, what is important is the feeling of appreciation and gratitude. Write them down and really feel the energy of being grateful.
- Spend time every day focusing on what you WANT. So instead of worrying… allow yourself to dream about abundance, manifesting your desires, being at your perfect health and weight and being wildly happy. Imagine you already have all this. Just BE IT and Feel those good feelings! (This exercise will reprogram your subconscious mind to attract more abundance, success and wealth)… and before you know it you are exactly where you want to BE!
- Get in the FLOW by taking action. This is the key.. because as soon as you get moving, your worries will evaporate. You’ll feel more in control, happier, and you’ll start to manifest more of the results you desire. All it takes is a little bit of action… but it *really* works. Make a plan and get GOING! You do not have to take “perfect” action…just take the steps that you believe will get you closer to your goal. That’s it!
One more tip….. It does not hurt to ask for help to accomplish your goals. Having someone to hold you accountable in your decision to take action is always a positive move.
